Officine Panerai

I was just wondering, since I don't seem to see a lot of wristshots of this lovely pair. I'm the proud owner of the 448 and honestly....I don't seem to wear it that much either, as it shows quite big and bulky on my wrist. Now recently I'm hesitating whet...  

Gone as the titanium 322 was more confortable than the SS 449 on my small wrist. But a nice model I have loved. Cheers, Patrickh ...  

Actually sold my 249 for the 448 and no regret. Yes one can argue that the market price is reflecting the desirability of the pieces and it's in favor of the 249. But if I had to do it again, I would still choose the 448 w/ the purposely designed movement...  

Simple elegant. From the old stock and simple approach the Panerai had back in the day. Nothing against the new stock but I got lost in the models. Bill ...  

I love the thin cases, but I also love my 449. I think they're all good, just pros and cons really. Equals!

and it didn't disappoint! The scrateched plexi only added to the vintage allure. ...  

448/449 are plexi 424/425 are sapphire

since I already own a 249 and a 373, there's no buying any of the two in my future

to have always liked the case/dial combo on the 449 the best among all Panerais! However, since the case is a huge 47mm I think a similar Panerai in the 45mm range (about the top size-wise I'd feel ok with) would be my first choice. The 610 perhaps! Cheer... 

That would be cool indeed, same dial as the 448 and 449 with a 8 days movement in a 45mm case without any mention of this on the dial.....but I guess that is never gonna happen

and they will shrink their models even further, in time. I wouldn't be surprised if, in a not too distant future, one could buy a 40mm..Cali After all, we live in the "Age of Styrofoam", where everybody MUST have everything they want and manufacturers cre... 

I'm not a huge watch guy at all, I just think a Panerai needs to be 47mm. It's just so cool with that case desing.

they would have ended like Officine Panerai...belly-up. Everybody likes a 47mm Panerai, the ones that would buy one, on the other hand, are much, MUCH fewer

doesn't turn me into a...nostalgic dreamer. Besides the Pre-V period, gave all of us a viable and acceptable...alternative...with its 44mm, no?

I think it's tempting to have both but one is enough, I think you'd be better off wearing your 448 to death. It's a great watch, I wear my 449 all the time! It's my 'off duty' watch, because you can't even tell the time exactly! Very relaxing. I like to h... 

sorry don't have any photo to share but still have both and consider them a must have since each dial is unique in its own way. Still prefer the Cali despite the various versions that has been produced throughout the years Laurent
