I was just wondering, since I don't seem to see a lot of wristshots of this lovely pair. I'm the proud owner of the 448 and honestly....I don't seem to wear it that much either, as it shows quite big and bulky on my wrist. Now recently I'm hesitating whet...

Actually sold my 249 for the 448 and no regret. Yes one can argue that the market price is reflecting the desirability of the pieces and it's in favor of the 249. But if I had to do it again, I would still choose the 448 w/ the purposely designed movement...

to have always liked the case/dial combo on the 449 the best among all Panerais! However, since the case is a huge 47mm I think a similar Panerai in the 45mm range (about the top size-wise I'd feel ok with) would be my first choice. The 610 perhaps! Cheer...

That would be cool indeed, same dial as the 448 and 449 with a 8 days movement in a 45mm case without any mention of this on the dial.....but I guess that is never gonna happen

sorry don't have any photo to share but still have both and consider them a must have since each dial is unique in its own way. Still prefer the Cali despite the various versions that has been produced throughout the years Laurent
