Totally understand where you're coming from as I'm a long time purchaser and admirer of Panerai myself. However, my biggest issue with them is their decision to lower prices during the

recession of '08. I believe that was instrumental in lowered value retention of thier pieces and I know others who were also really upset over them doing that. I know they weren't alone but I have more respect
for companies that weathered the storm and held on pricing. Prior to that they were one of very few brands that had Rolex like value retention. Of coarse increasing production numbers is also a factor.

Who said Panerai make only bulky watches? π

This PAM00574 wears really small for a 42 mm diameter, and it isnβt thick either. Itβs sporty yet elegant. Itβs simple too: Hand-wound movement and no date. I like it although some Panerai fanboys might say that this is a ladies watch. π Best, V. ...
Looks great!

For me personally, I'm a big fan of the 42mm PAMs.
So perfect on you.

Needed something to cheer me up so bought it online at an AD yesterday. All shops are closed here until at least 20 April 2020 I suspect.
Thanks, Thomas.

is there a 42mm panerai radiomir with brushed case? I see they have 42mm luminor due line but WR only 3 bar π for gorgeous blue dial titanium, if more WR (ie pool) it would be perfect.
Ladies watch? No

For me I prefer the smaller watches and I think itβs more complimentary when suited up. My thoughts π only. I always prefer the smaller mm watches. π

daughter, I would have bought her one of these..littlers. Jokes aside, you like you buy, you enjoy, period!! Even though I consider myself a square "purist", I like the Luminor Due line quite a lot, for instance. Keep enjoying your "littler" too much
Haha, many thanks, Sergio.

I like the Luminor Due line too. Actually, I considered PAM904 because of its beautiful grey sunburst dial but the fact that it doesnβt have a real in-house movement (and a solid caseback) made me move on.
Whatever a company decides to do....

in order to produce revenues and profits, it's their business. Panerai has overhauled it's image and become a mainstream watchmaking company and as such, must aim their products to an ever growing and diverse clientele. Gone are the..underground..days and...
