Officine Panerai

Took me a while to read this Pluto / Socrates stuff

Myself, coming from the early, ok maybe not that early… bought my first Pam in 2002 and many thereafter, I also gave up on that brand years ago. And sold most of them. Although, weirdly, acquired my last Pam 687 when it came out. Nostalgia kicked in? Even my wife asked me what has just happened?

Didn’t we say: “we wore Pams because we were cool? And today they are wearing them to be cool?”

Either way, for me personally, I guess the passion evolved over the years, Panerai just had and has too many limited editions and re-editions for my taste. I sort of fell out of love with it.

Like my kids say “it is what it is” 😂. I’m sure there are tons of Panerai lovers out there. But hey, at least, they are available (majority of them) and attainable! Haven’t seen many waiting lists and their shops are not empty either!!

Just my couple cents…
