The 382 is a..chapter..in its own right....
I think it's one of the strongest "statements" of Panerai. I was foolish in discarding this model. Much like the 341 or the 300, the 382 one of the milestones of the house's inventiveness and will to explore all the materials and shapes available. A (non foolish) collector must have one of those.. IMO

because you CAN put in on a pizza, you just have to...like...the end result. After all, the Hawaian Pizza, with pineapple on it, it's a favourite of many a...foreigner (from the Italian point of view) :-) S.L.C.=maialino (little pig), because they where.....

It was sort of love at first sight for my 289 but the passion quickly diminished. Somehow the colour tone just didn't work well w/ the style in my eyes. Anyway, I had similar reservation about the 382 but the rustic look finally won me over... ...
