with excellent pics & wrist shots... over few days i was pondering over the Ivory dial - looks really different to Panerai ! i agree, it is a welcome change in Panerai's approach than following a series of relaunch @ historic models. merci encore Fx !... 

As for the watch in itself, it is a cool looking one, with two interesting dials which have nothing to see with Panerai, in their origins. But the outcome is quite convincing, even if I have to see them in the real before any final judgement. Maybe a thin...

For a brand that routinely issues LEs in editions of thousands, I think any narrative or interpretation that these 2 watches might represent a significant pivot is overstated. They’re making a small amount and there has not been much marketing around it f... 

The case size is the biggest issue for me, just doesn't make sense. The dial has real potential otherwise, shame.

But I can understand that you may find it inconsistent. Anyway, in my case, I was seduced by the ivory dial version. Thanks! Fx

pics, dear foversta. Regardless of the success or failure of the new 790/791, for me it is a first step in the right direction. Creating something new without loosing their strong DNA. You see these two models and immediately know that they are Panerais. ... 

I prefer a "new course" to the systematic DEFACING of the original dials. I've often wondered what would have been the...original Italian production..like, if Panerai hadn't been sold to the Vendome Group. Would they have chosen to remain in a niche? Woul...

Unfortunately I'm not a fan of this art deco dial. It just seems odd to me. If I had to choose between the 2 versions, I'd definitely opt for the black dial though. The ivory dial is too much for my eyes. Cheers, Anthony

This is Panerai reinventing itself half-baked IMO. The Rad 40mm case is just too big for a creamy art deco dial, making the watch even looks larger, hence, not correctly targeted to the intended segment of new customers with smaller wrist size (maybe the ...
