Hello,
You can pick up a 249 from hundreds of dealers and private sellers worldwide very ,very easily right now.
The prudent thing to do would be to pick up the 28A immediatly (papers or not)> It's much rarer than is commonly believed.
After speaking with some of the most knowledgeable people in the world about the 28A,.. I have come to some realizations.
There were only 100 realeased of the 28A, not 500. The known serial #s support this. Also there were only 400 27A's released.
Together they form 500 A series power reserves.
As far as a wearer the 249 would be a better choice, but I would get the very hard to get one right now.

Only reservation is the claim of a 'NEW' 28A. Given that this watch was released almost 10 years ago, need to be careful w/ that statement. Good luck!
