The Power Reserve indicator of 40 Hours is just ridiculous, even if esthetically speaking, it is ok.
A Date at 3? An attack to the balance of the dial!
PVD? Ok, let's see after you wear it for 2 or 3 months, and you will see in what condition is your PVD...
No, seriously, a Cali is a much more serious, interesting, and historicaly correct choice!
And with its particular, well balanced , and strong dial, with the cherry on the cake " plexy", the choice is clear: C.A.L.I!

Only reservation is the claim of a 'NEW' 28A. Given that this watch was released almost 10 years ago, need to be careful w/ that statement. Good luck!
