as for some of the comments on this thread about anu's vogue-ish thread, watches are absolutely a fashion accessory and in fact, i think there should be MORE threads on purist with discussion about whether a PAM372 goes well with a Barbour Bedale Jacket or Trench Coat by Burberry or whether an AP Royal Oak or Patek Calatrava should be worn with John Lobb Monk strap Shoes.

nothing is discussed more often than questions of taste :-)! Tastes are not altogether arbitrary in general, at least most gourmets would consider those restaurants more interesting listed in the Guide Michelin or prefer wines with a lot of Parker points....

I assume your friend or partner was a Panerai collector, from previous postings. It is not the first brand for ladies to 'go to'; like IWC before. With these two Mens' brands, their ladies' models are few or non-existent. Regards Melvyn
