It has been my opinion...
forever that the 6154 should be..left alone..and not "hommaged" by Panerai. The uniqueness of the dial, alone, makes it impossible to emulate anyway. Still and all, as you wrote, in its own right I find the 662 a rather handsome modern Panerai, deeply "coated" in Panerai DNA

I find the 662 to be a wonderful modern interpretation with lots of Panerai DNA...
That said, I am very interested to see what is released for the Richemont 20th Anniversary in 2017. Maybe a sandwich brown dial in 622 case that will be a tribute to the 6154? Who knows, but many Paneristi's are very excited to find out! Chuck A
