I've seen a 203 live....
also once, in Hong Kong. I loved it and found the dial...magnetic. At a vastly different price I would have considered buying one. That being said, my dream of dreams, bubble or no bubble, has always been the 267. Never seen, never lost any sleep over it but had it been available for a nano-second, I would have landed on it like a peregrine falcon in fool stoop

It has all the looks and charm of an old school vintage Panerai.
But I think the PVD/DLC is too dark and it would be a lot better if it was like the original and more of a dark grey as opposed to deep black. Marc

I could be convinced depending upon pricing. I miss the old days before the missteps…for awhile there they were putting out some really cool pieces.
The original 5218-202A.....
has been, probably, the most coveted model of the Pre-V production. If the market price hand't been absurd, I would have one for sure. Like for all the modern Panerai models, my approach remains the same: you like, you buy.

that one and the 203 are the ones that crushed and burned after the bubble popped, but inside they where the stars of the show, with the 21 IMO
I remember a Paneristi named Bo and myself were visiting the Panerai AD in Kuwait and out of nowhere he shows me his PAM 203, was such a shock in a good way 😊 he traveled to Firenze the week before to pick it up, I never thought I'd see one in real life
It was nice no Doubt and there was so much hype, but the feeling you get from the Vintage, Pre-V, PreA, A and B was not there, a bit Sterile. The 21 and 5218-202a are so Pure.
