I prefer MY AD because. ..
Well, I have a very good relationship with my ad.
And I want to keep it this way. He knows me. He knows which watches I like and want
he knows I won't flip it within one week.
His knowledge is great and I can buy more than only Panerai.
This isn't the case when talking about a boutique. I'm not blaming the staff. They are nice peope to.
But they don't know you.
If you buy 7 different brands, you cant be a well known cusromer at 7 different boutiques.
If Panerai would have 10 boutiques all over the world, there wouldn't be a problem but when they want
to open one in every major city.... :-(
they should respecr their AD more and be very thankfull that the AD supported Panerai all these years.
Now I hve a feeling that are fooling the AD.
Somehow they steal their clients.
Just look at the sought after pieces. They alway go to the boutiques.
How many 382 does an AD get? ???
1or 2? And how many go to a boutique? 15 - 20?
Just ask an Ad how many 382 he gets.....

Hello Paneristi's, Just got the Panerai PAM382 Bronze from my local AD. Just love the size and the feel of the size and weight of the watch. Falling in love with a Panerai again after a very long time......

you can love the 382, you can hate the 382 but you cannot...ignore...the 382. Together with the 339, IHMO, it offers a glimpse into Panerai's future.... Enjoy it...thoroughly!!!!!! Ciao - Sergio

I think Panerai chose the right model for this idea in the Submersible. Also, I think the green dial was a great decision. I would love to see the watch on the green canvas strap.

I must admit that I slightly and slowly changed my mind on this one.
I don't know why, but it didn't impress me when I saw it in Geneva, almost one year ago... Then, re thinking about it, I'm not a big fan, but slowly I start to appreciate it. Enjoy! Best, Nicolas.
Probably because you've looked at it from an....
orthodox spyglass... If, on the other hand, you factor in the guts that it took to create an "American" piece and make it rather handsome, with personality to spare, this piece takes on a whole new meaning and appreciation level...IMO of course..

But I can't really put in words why I was not that impressed, and why I slightly changed my mind... I look at it as a funny piece, when my favourite will still be the Pam 24 A, the 64 or a mini Egiziano to come? Best, Nicolas.

if you own 24 you coould have been a very good cutomer at any AD ;-) I'm not against boutiques but I think the more or less 20 they have now is more than enough. It's good to have one in the major city's but when I read the want to open 80 or 100 of them....

Like you, I prefer to get thru one or two ADs that I have a great relationship with. But sadly, the power of the brands, and the rise of social media like this forum enables the brands to relate and correspond with their customers, better then ever. I fee...
