I am assuming the watch was under factory warranty - that's why you sent it to them. Yes? The fact is that this is a large and somewhat uncomplicated chronograph...as chronographs go (and, I think it's as stunning watch as well). This is not a super complicated watch for a very skilled watchmaker. They who could properly service this watch for less than the factory and in far less time. Yes parts could be an issue, but frankly this watch shouldn't need parts almost ever, unless it was dropped and something critical broke. I often give watches like this - once they are out of warranty - to a very skilled watchmaker I know and have had far better results than with most factory service experiences.
