Why the German or asian brands didn't want to attend, I don't know...
But their absence don't " waste " the merit of the brands which decided to attend.
There was a big risk to see a brand like ETA winning against more sophisticated and more expensive movements.
Some brands did take the risk, others preferred to not take this risk.
