First, it is for me an interesting situation.
Watches does matter for many parties.
Everybody jumps on it, honest, not honest, enthusiasts, investors.
Sure, i eat the dust. Bad timing, not alert enough.
But i can laugh about my stupidness.
I have my desired watches, one more to go to have all i want for my core collection.
The last one is not easy to catch, but that watch is out of the radar from the wolves, so no concerns and waiting lists.
If i finished that, it is time to move on with collecting.
My advice is to focus on brands which are out of the radar. Not our radar, but the radar of the masses.
Parmigiani, Chronoswiss, Habring2, Chopard, C F Bucherer, Oris, Baume and Mercier,
IWC. Skip the status symbols, take the brands which do interesting inventions, mesmerizing dials, and downgrade a bit take a Tag Heuer.
For example Jaquet Droz, they need more attention.
