Thank you for the masterful writeup!

First, let me thank you for the wonderful and extremely thoughtful presentation of the new watches. The sequential and side-by-side organization really helped me understand the new watches, and I'm sure this must have been a time-consuming article to write. Your JLC and Fx's Lange write-ups were my first stop this morning as soon as my coffee was ready. It's a good thing it's a holiday today...I'd be getting no work done!
I think I'll need some time to digest such a number of new watches, but my first response is mixed. Some thoughts:
Pros:
-A very coherent new line-up in reasonably size cases. It's nice to release these all at once, and give collectors a nice selection, as you pointed out.
-No date windows (except as optional)!

I can only imagine you were our lobbyist within the manufacture to ensure that this happened!
-Excellent movements, as always.
Cons:
- While I think they look awesome, I can't help but also feel that they've lost some of the critical DNA. In particular, I find the applied indexes are too similar in size, shape, and position to the Blancpain Aqua Lung and the 214270 Explorer. This muddies the waters a bit for me when I see the watch. It's undeniably attractive to me...but does it still have the Memovox DNA? Maybe I need to look at it longer.
-The bracelets are very forgettable. I think full-brushed would also have been more appropriate for this watch. That being said, the optional bracelet is a great advantage for sales and for certain climates.
Looking forward to seeing this watch in person.
Have a great SIHH!
