Jaeger Lecoultre Amvox II first generation: Titanium, Titanium PVD and Platinum.
2006 was a thrilling year, with the introduction of the Amvox II, which is, still nowadays, the most original and unique chronograph, with its pivoting case used like pushers to activate the chronograph function.
It came in three versions, and I could finally take photos of all of them.
The Titanium, limited to 750 pieces:
The Black Concept, which is made in Titanium, coated with Black PVD, limited to 500 pieces.
And the one I got, in platinum, limited to 200 pieces, because of its delicious ruthenium grey dial.
In my opinion, this is, the Amvox II, whatever the version, the best Amvox ever made.

always been a fan of this reference...
and always made excuses for not getting one main one is probably the diagonally placed date window... but otherwise a very very cool piece! Particularly like the original titanium... but aesthetically the platinum is more intrruguing...

The platinum is crazy cool. Not only because of the platinum itself, but that ruthenium dial is magical ....

The best Amvox?
Dear Nico, Although I love Amvox 2, my favorite model in the line is Amvox 7, of which I am a proud owner. I believe 1) its power reserve indicator is amazing and 2) lettering on the chrono discs is more coherent and nicer. Just my 2c. Thanks.
