I've learned not to expect too much. In the end watch manufacturers and dealers are not our friends. It's about business and money.
And with your disappointment you end up harming yourself the most.
I can understand your disappointment and anger. But at the end of the day, it’s just a watch. A thing.
You seem to have a wonderful family and friends as well as a good job where you make enough money to be able to afford marvels like your birthday watch.
And you seem to be healthy and above all you for sure have acquired a great watch which now works perfectly.

My understanding is that all Duometres have to back to Le Sentier to be serviced. Mechanical watches are temperamental little bastards. There are a million things that can go wrong. After it comes back from JLC it will look and perform perfectly.
