For me your red version without date is the
most beautiful iteration I have seen so far. This would be my personal choice. By a large margin! I sincerely hope this project will see the light of day!
I love that model as well. Would prefer a non-date of a burgundy colored dial, with slightly thicker hands for better legibility......
or better yet...... One of the watches that I still near-and-dear to me, is one I think you have a fondness for as well. The 1997-ish Memovox, 36mm with only the 3-6-9 numerals. Make that again, but in 40mm for me with a display back and in blue and burgu...
Without date, will certainly excite many purist. But usually JLC will follow the mass.
The red colour is very nice, one thing i could change is the hand could be a bit thicker to match the 40 mm case. The boutique edition is my grail memovox, too bad the price is keep increasing to the point its outside my comfortable range for a SS watch
