Now, take the same dial, and put it in a MUT 38 or 39... What do you think? I feel the Master Case to be outdated, now that JLC showed us that they can make very pretty cases. Time to adopt the bigger MUT for the Master line, don't you think? Best, Nicola... 

This has everything going for it, from a nice size and the simplicity that has a lot of balance. The case is dated and needs a refresh. This was the same thing some purists and I were discussing when viewing both these versions earlier this week at a JLC ...

... I wear my little Master Ultra Thin on brown leather everyday and i find it perfect. It's the 34mm one, all steel. It slides perfectly under the shirts cuffs, is nearly invisible to most people bit would get good appreciative comments from the ones who... 

The black is beautiful, but as you know, I prefer the old 37 mm Master Grande Taille with silver dial. - the "Automatique" and the JLC script/logo gives the dial a better balance - the Master Grande Taille has a nicer, better proportionaled case - 18k gol...  

The new one in white dial - the date window is finished all wrong. Looks messy. And it\'s too close to the centre of the dial. The new one in black dial - better date window surround and I prefer the Dauphine hands. But it is still too close to the centre... 

Sooner or later I will definitely pull a trigger on this one - just so nicely understated, simple, yet wonderfully executed. If one was forced down to only one watch, one could do a lot worse than limiting yourself to this :)

It is a combination I do not have so far and to be honest, if I was to go for black, I would probably take the Moon Version.

and this is what I have, other than I do have the steel bracelet also. Just wish they could improve the power reserve on mine which has finally forced me into a different daily wearer.
