Jaeger-LeCoultre

Has anyone seen the production model in the metal yet? If there are any new owners out there, please post pictures. I am eager to see this new beauty I noticed that Jaeger-LeCoultre recently updated their website to include the new Ultra Thin collection.

And the PG version is gorgeous ! In fact, i was a bit disappointed by the SS version, I thought it was a bit too "quiet". I didn't feel any emotion on my wrist. That's not the case of the PG version. The ivory dial, the PG case bring a very classy atmosph...

I saw both new MUT and Grand MUT... Several times the protos, and lmately the production watches. I can tell you that both are gorgeous. I like a lot the dial of the Grande MUT, with its sunning elegance, and perfect symmetry. The small second is verty fi... 

I think it will be a difficult decision, but perhaps one will speak to me on the wrist more than the other when I actually get to see them in person

but I cant help but be disappointed. The 896 movement that powers this is meant to be a sub-seconds version of the 899 found in the Master Control sans date. It ends up being an even thicker movement (3.9mm vs 3.3mm) even though it is called an Ultra Thin... 

and as I made in my earlier response, it really is a stunning piece. When I was handling this piece, it really was like a steel version of the VC Patrimony Contemporaine. But alas, the case felt too thick. The thickness wasn't in proportion the the style ... 

The SS, the normal RG or the 1833 Edition? Both are stunning, I'm very curious to know. Congrats in advance, and please post pics as soon as you can. Best. Nicolas
