Congrats, the Atmos is such a fantastic clock !! I have one and enjoy so much watching it ! If it is not working probably you need to release the balance staff which is usually blocked through a lever when in "travelling" position.
I assume it is detailed in the handbook no ?

Give the rotor a gentle nudge with a gloved finger
Make sure the surface it sits on is level. Use a bubble / spirit level to confirm in both directions, and adjust the feet of the clock if necessary. Assuming the clock is on a flat surface, it should start turning immediately. There is no winding up that ...

Oh, no idea. I ordered it online directly at JLC and ......
......you can have it delivered at your home (at least in Europe) or delivered to a boutique and pick it up there (which is what I did). Cheers, HSTE

I am planning on getting one when I move into my new place next year. Was it very hard to get or was it just wait time? I've always love these clocks.
