Can't decide!
I keep going back and forth between the two...initially I was leaning JLC by the slightest of margins due to it's, in my opinion, higher versatility quotient (if that's a thing..lol). But then I look at the GO and it's so playful and seems like you could have a lot of fun with different straps on that one. I'll abstain from voting! lol

Yes purer without date. But if I want the less “dressy” of the two, could one argue the date makes the JLC a touch more casual than the GO?

In this case, for me, the JLC in spite of things like the date.
The dauphine hands and simple makers along with the better balanced case dimensions win me over.

because I really prefer the applied numerals. Absolutely nothing wrong with the other, it is beautiful but I'll take the applied numerals.

Interesting set of remarks — both are beautiful — were it not for the date, easily the JLC.
The GO doesn’t sing to me — so, I would be inclined to think about other options. I have no idea about the price point for either of these watches. But, Moser, Rolex 1908, the new VC 56 in rose gold?

Interesting as both are modern takes on 50-60 year old dress watch design. At first I saw an easy decision for the GO. Not a fan of 3 o'clock dates that disrupt dial aesthetics and balance and
I like the style of the numerals on the GO. But the more I looked the more I realized this is a tighter race than originally thought. The JLC is super clean and snappy looking. Also its hands are uniquely cool and fun. Both brands have earned high respect...

Thank you for your comments. At first it was an easy GO decision for me , but then this damn JLC creeps in! Yes, I can afford one (both are priced about the same). So yes, agreed, I should make no sacrifice . It’s just a matter of choosing now !

No date and a very unusual, sleek and a sense of uniqueness because of the number font. The JLC, while nice, looks like many others. (Think Calatrava).

Nothing wrong with the JLC but between these two the GO simply has the more unique, distinctive design 😊👍🏻

That probably suits me best since my lifestyle rarely calls for a dress watch. Although I’m betting either can be dressed down with the right strap. Thanks for your comment

My vote is for the Glashutte, with one caveat.
I own the 2018 green annual edition with the textured dial, and I adore it. Love that Tiki-lounge font of the numerals! However, I suggest seeing and handling the GO in real life before coming to a decision. At the very least, check out some youtube video...

on for what use? If it's for business purposes, I would go with the JLC because it has a date. if it's more for dress, the GO is nice, too. I'm more partial to JLC, with the exception of GO's perpetual calendar. At the end of the day, get the one that "sp...
