Jaeger-LeCoultre

A very good watch in my eyes!

It is interesting to read here what people think, all remarks are good to take.

In my eyes, yes it is austere but as austere as the master ultra thin can be for example.
The only thing I would blame on this watch is it's water resistance which should really be 100m. The competition offers that and not JLC which is a bit of a shame.

Compared to a master date for example, i find this one much more interesting.

Of course calling it a Geophysic was a bit risky, and it does not fully relate to the Tribute to Geophysic in term of movement. However, it is a nice watch and maybe more today's Geophysic compared to the tribute : a very interesting movement with gyrolab and a technical scientific complication, the dead second.

One thing that I would change in the tribute to Geophysic is the hand shape which are slightly too wide and lose the nice proportion of the original 1958 model. That is a show stopper for me sadly. I say sadly as it seem to day the only way to get close to a Geophysic.

Thanks for the advise on checking the lume dot alignments before buying, it is a bit of a scary thing thought though!

All the best,

É.
