Friends, I have decided my next acquisition will be a LF. I just love almost every model he releases and his overall vision. But I’m torn between the Classic Opaline and the Square Micro-Rotor. Here are stock photos from the LF website of the two watches ...

In that dial configuration, either colour works. He did a really nice porcelain dial a few years back with tall / condensed numerals all round and red accents (below), great combination ...  

I’ve never this version - wonderful.

But a little niche, considering the competition within his own ranges ...  

I usually prefer manual winds. My only apprehension here is whether the Classic is too dressy for me right now as I no longer wear my dressier watches as I used to. But the fact that it is titanium suggests to me that it can be dressed down for more casua... 

I won’t be surprised if LF issues another version of the Classic with a different dial color soon. The green dial LE sold out quickly, I believe, and I’ve heard that the white Opaline model has been selling well, perhaps in part because of the lower price...

would go for the Square Micro-Rotor. It has a case form that’s not often seen. And for me the Square has more wrist presence, is much more casual and definitely … cooler. And has a purer dial with even more power. But that’s just my personal taste. And I ...

With basically the same two choices. I really liked the cushion shape, numerals and the micro rotor movement on the square. I always found that movement to epitomize LF. When thinking of my use, mainly a weekend watch, I realized I didn't actually need a ...

I believe either of these works well for a casual use. While that opinion seems obvious for the square case, the classic case gets dressed down because of the sector dial and the numerals on the railroad track adjacent to the bezel. Two reasons I prefer t... 

I’m getting closer to making a decision but am not quite there yet. Will provide an update when I have decided. And then of course I will likely have to wait quite a while to receive the watch. But the anticipation is some of the fun.

The numerals and dial are more beautiful than the round model. And even I with my dainty wrist felt comfortable with the 41mm square.

Interestingly, by my count opinions are now split 5-5 between the two watches. I guess that confirms that both watches are well appreciated by our community. I’ll do some more thinking and will let you know what I decide, and more important, why. Thanks f... 

From my experience both cases Classic and Square are really nice, both are very versatile classy / dressy for sure but so easy to wear, both extremely comfortable (on my wrist at least) so for chosing one of the two don’t try to rationalize but let your h...

Hello! You are making an excellent choice by picking a Laurent Ferrier as your next watch. Even though you have narrowed your choice down to two watches from his lineup, they are very different indeed. I can empathize with you that this can be a very diff...

If I had to choose one it’s the square. But that said this is a personal choice. I ended up buying 3 LFs, so I happen to own both case shapes. Best Gatsby

Maybe that’s the solution - I need more than one LF.
