I had the same dilemma
With basically the same two choices. I really liked the cushion shape, numerals and the micro rotor movement on the square. I always found that movement to epitomize LF. When thinking of my use, mainly a weekend watch, I realized I didn't actually need a micro rotor and I wanted a manual wind. The origin was kind of new to me, but on investigation it checked all the boxes. Thay is what I ended up with. I love the case shape, the hands, the dial, the movement.... all very elegant, but I don't think dressy. Maybe it is the strap (which I likely will switch out), but I wear it with jeans and a sweatshirt mostly. No wrong choice here.

Though both are beautiful watches independently, yet if I've to choose one, I'll go for classic as more colorful dial makes it more beautiful

I’m getting closer to making a decision but am not quite there yet. Will provide an update when I have decided. And then of course I will likely have to wait quite a while to receive the watch. But the anticipation is some of the fun.
Buy the square!
The numerals and dial are more beautiful than the round model. And even I with my dainty wrist felt comfortable with the 41mm square.

I personally think the square is more unique
If I had to choose one it’s the square. But that said this is a personal choice. I ended up buying 3 LFs, so I happen to own both case shapes. Best Gatsby
