I was doing my usual watch twice daily watch browsing tonight (SJX, Deployant, Monochrome, Hodinkee, Quill and Pad) when i noticed this new collaboration between SJX and Kudoke. It was an indepth article but I just looked at the photos, scrolled straight ...  

The dial had won me over! I usually prefer the Kudoke 1.

She looks the part, bravo! PS: There's no helping you. FEAR NOT... my wife is an enabler so just remember it could always be 'worse' ;-)

And the reason I know is that we're kindred spirits. Did I mention three more watch straps arrived today. Four more are in transit. Even my wife said i needed more 22mm straps(!).

I have never ever changed a watch strap though. All my watches have their original straps - call me boring or unadventurous and you may be spot on!

I was just fortunate to look at the site at the right time of the day. I guess some things are just meant to be! I am looking forward to trying this watch on. It measures only 10.7mm high but it somehow looks thicker!

On one side you want to try, when you didn’t get it, you’ll feel “Crap” this is a highly desirable piece and I missed it….but when you called and got an allocated, you’ll also feel “Crap” no body wants it and am I this lucky, lol… Then you’ll be wandering... 

I agree with much that you said and I actually heard from a fellow collector that they were all sold out so I was pretty sure I was unsuccessful. So yes it was a pleasant surprise that I was allocated a piece. Even more importantly, the watch will be arri...

Delivery is due within 5 weeks ie the end of November which is great compared to some internet launches where delivery can take six months or a year! And yes, I look at the piece and ignore the fact on whether it is a collaboration because like it or not,...

When I finally read the article on this watch (after being allocated the piece!), I was quite impressed at the ingenuity of the dial and movement design and decoration. Seldom has so much thought, in my opinion, be given to both front and back of a watch

I am normally late for these special releases so I was shocked when I received an email saying that I had been allocated one. I have seen many variations of the Kudoke 2 especially after its success at the GPHG but none really got my adrenalin flowing unt... 

If the watch is half as nice looking in real life, I will consider myself blessed

... in this particular instance I'm not sure it works. The Kudoke 2 is a marvel because of its minimalism, front and preferably back too (I'm currently waiting on the rose gold / black dial version that became available to order about 3-4 months ago). In ... 

I personally have always preferred the Kudoke 1 to the Kudoke 2 until I saw the SJX version. Like SJX, I felt that the original Kudoke 2 dial was a tad plain and needed more going on so I found it pretty clever that the signs of the zodiac have been used ...
