This is a pointless watch..........as haute horlogerie.
BUT it has merit as an engineering exercise or college project....How to make things complexed when simple is disallowed.
It is not easy to sing out of tune -- perfectly -- and so it is the same with microengineering. It is difficult to make something complexed just for the sake of doing it. They succeeded.
It ranks with the Tag-Heure V4, HWRT Opus 8 and MBF H1 for spectacular redundancy! At least an Azimuth is cheap and can be tossed away after the laugh......
COUNTERPOINT: Rich people who want to be different will grab these with alacrity.....it will be a commercial success, especially if self-styled PR "consultants" also write for horology websites.

I'm a big fan of the 103 and 202 collections : definitely a watch I could buy someday. But certainly not this one : I find the reading of the time less easy and less fascinating than the rotating parts of their other models. Emmanuel

I think Urwerk is the only company that are making watches that you could actually pick up girls with and this watch does not have that quality at all.
