I know I tend to post too many wrist shots without any meaningful content, but this is one I can't resist.
The complex, layered dial on the De Bethune GMT Starry Varius DB25, with it's blued concave blued titanium center sector, is a bear to capture adequately with the camera, and yesterday's overcast conditions on the waterfront offered the perfect lighting.

The three-dimensionality of this dial exceeds just about anything
else I've worn, save perhaps the Arnold & Son Time Pyramid, and the
variety of materials and finishes is extremely well-judged. Legibility
is good, too, considering how much information is conveyed on the
dial.Frustratingly, the wide-angle macro lens on my phone distorts
perspective, so the watch appears much larger than its actual 42 mm
diameter. (The lower resolution image below more accurately indicates
the watch's fit on my 7-1/4" wrist.)
