What i like from Hublot is it’s modern spirit and the details their watches have.
The quick strap release and the sandwich case construction just perfect.
The older big bangs differ from the new series.
The fusion of materials is interesting.
The only disappointing is that the fabulous looking big bangs are very big. 45mm case and more is too much. The 42mm case models will be the max.
I think the 42mm case and less will stand the test of time better. Maybe also the value.

At the heart of the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey beats the manufacture HUB1280 calibre, a “simple” column-wheel chronograph movement, not a Rattrapante. The case size is 42 mm.

Just my humble opinion, but I think it is awesome. There is room in any collection for a watch like this - as long as it suits your tastes! I think history will be kinder to Hublot than watch enthusiasts currently are.

No, I didn’t change the strap. It’s the same ridged rubber strap that was on the watch when it was delivered. Included in delivery there’s also a silvery fabric and Velcro strap that almost looks like a Milanese bracelet. I haven’t tried it yet. Cordially...
