Big BAAAAAANG!

After 14 years of collecting mechanical watches, I did the same on the same day as Thomas (MTR) and bought my very first HUBLOT watch for me!

Please see it yourself:

The summer is here and lasts forever!!!



It looks like a spider on the wrist, the titanium case is very light, the watch is easy to wear, the blue colour is like the endless sky on the horizont!



The rubber strap is very comfortable and its colour is in a perfect harmony with the colour of the dial and bezel.



Her Majesty, the Queen ( King ) of every Hublots, the BIG BANG UNICO in her full beauty:



It has a strong apperance not only on the wrist but also in the wild nature:

But, of course, she is born to wear:



The bezel is made of ceramic, of course:

Only one question left:

Why took it so long to get my first Hublot into my collection?

Well, I really don’t know. I must admit that I am a great fan of Jean-Claude Biver, he is a genius, if I look what he achieved from Blancpain to Zenith, both in horological and commercial aspects.

Maybe Hublot went before his own age, in the middle of the 2000’s it wasn’t so acceptabe to use various materials ( ceramic, kevlar, carbon ) and the colours of the rainbow or the monochrome themes. Now almost every manufacturer do this, even some classical manufacturers like Rolex, AP, Jaeger etc.

And that is Hublot’s merit, don’t forget about it! Hublot was the first manufacturer which combined a gold case with a rubber strap, which tried unknown pathes to find her own horological way.

The missing of the real manufactural movement blocked me also for a while to buy my first Hublot.

Now I find the brand not too loud anymore, because she arrived home just now, in the 21th century, found her own way on the horological horizont: a new star is born.

When I first noticed this Blue Wonder at my AD I was immediately lost.
It is the very first Hublot, which I find perfect in every single details therefore I didn’t hesitate too much and took it home!

Since then she left only few times my wrist and I am enjoying the summer with her in a perfect harmony!
