Today I accidentally came across the Hublot Limited Edition Big Bang Unico Essential Grey on the internet.

This model is limited to 200 pieces and only available online.

I just bought it. It seems I am totally crazy. Because I have not tried the watch and have never seen it live. But I was so mesmerized that I HAD to buy it without hesitation.

Of course I have already read a lot about the movement and comparable Hublot watches here in the forum and on the internet. At least that way I know the watch represents good quality.

Powering this Essential Grey model is the Unico 2 movement. This automatic in-house caliber includes a flyback chronograph and 72 hours of power reserve. The case is 42mm and made of grade 5 titanium. WR is 100m.

I can’t believe what I have done. But it was love at first sight. Strange….

Now I joined the Hublot club as a little novice.

If someone had predicted that to me this morning, I would have called him/her crazy…

That is one of these stories... trust me, you will NOT regret it. First impression is very accurate, especially if it is a positive one, as we all tend to be quite critical. I tried the 42 Unico and was really smitten. It is a very nice watch and the pusher action alone is to die for. If one then digs up and studies the patents of Hublot that lead to that smooth action and all the other patents concerning Unico 2 caliber, it gets even better.

Wo die Liebe hinfällt… ;-) Where love falls... ;-) Hublot is actually very underestimated. I've been following Hublot watches closely, but haven't bought anything until now. I always go about my purchases in such a way that I really have to be 100% convinced, which is also a highly emotional thing. Like the watch hobby in general. Because purely for reasons of practicality, a smartphone is just as sufficient nowadays. 😎 Only once in my „career“ as a watch collector have I decided to buy a watch
