Went watch watching today and then...
with the wife. Looked at the blancpain, GP cat's eye, JD Le fleur, Nardin, AP millenary. Of all those, shortlisted the JD and the AP and then the Manager pulled out the Jaeger Master Twinkling Diamonds! Beautiful, unique, formal yet casual enough, in-house movement and from a established enough manufature worthy of leaving it in the care of my daughter when the time comes.
So the Twinkling diamonds leads the pack now but there's some time yet so let's see if something else comes up.
What's a nice ladies watch?
Looking for something for my wife which can then be handed down to my daughter. Some of the criteria include: 1. Mechanical. This seems hard to find as many ladies wacthes seem to be quartz. 2. In house movement would be nice. 3. A tad on the dressy side ...

I not quite sure this shape is right for my wife. Pity as the pricing is right and has most of what I am looking for. Purely from an aesthetics point of view, I've also now shortlisted the GP Cat's Eye and Cat's Eye Bi-retro as well.
