AFAIK, J*D movements are not in-house
while most, if not all, of AP's are. Great choice on the piano keys too, I quite like it. Have you also considered GP?
I would suggest you don't consider in-house movement as too high a criteria for ladies watches. It would be nice of course but consider this. Ladies watches are usually dominated by aesthetics and design rather than movements; and this is what attract ladies more. You would be giving up a lot more if that's the case.
Satin straps don't last long, especially if worn daily or often as they fray easily.The underlining of the strap should be leather to ensure comfort.

I not quite sure this shape is right for my wife. Pity as the pricing is right and has most of what I am looking for. Purely from an aesthetics point of view, I've also now shortlisted the GP Cat's Eye and Cat's Eye Bi-retro as well.
