Vintage automatics, with plenty of exceptions.
The "collection" part of my collection is vintage automatics. I have tried to get cover the most essential brands and movements from the pre-quartz era. However, I have bought modern watches for characteristics I cannot replicate in vintage watches, such as complications, luminosity and water resistance. I think it's important not to become doctrinaire about the whole thing. This is for fun, after all.
