To be honest I don’t follow football, but that was pretty interesting when it became public! ;-)) I guess certain brands also lend themselves more naturally to collaborations (e.g., RM also as a form of technical demonstration)…
However, I generally just can’t find it appealing at a high level. It actually seems common, quite reasonably, for the top brands in several areas not to have these reps/ambassadors (Patek for watches, Ferrari for cars, I believe also Hermès for accessories/lifestyle, etc.)... Arguably mine is a “Purist” approach, but I’m genuinely unmoved by what all of these ‘greats’ (some truly so in their field!) would wear😄 Cheers.

I’m honestly unimpressed by any ‘greats’ sponsoring watches, or at least the watches that I would buy…Patek’s no-ambassador philosophy is the winner here (basically, you buy a Patek in order to look like…yourself, not someone else! ;-)
But if I had to stick to Richard Mille and one of its ambassadors, then let me go all in with this football player!😉 Odell Beckham, who received lots of attention for wearing a RM during a 2019 game ...
