This is what AP gave me after my 15202 service. Look at how the pouch stitching stood the test of time, or did it? Cheap cup holder from BlancPain. High-end brands should also give you high-end merchandise in my opinion. Giving this cheap stuff “cheapens”...

It also took long, and I’m not done yet, to recover all BUT ONE (#2 of Vol. 1) of the past magazines (thanks to Patek itself AND five or six different ADs that I deal with...it wasn’t easy!). Unfortunately most of these things are in Italy😇 ...

However I should also say that I’ve received all kinds of gifts and accessories from Patek in recent years, and nothing has been short of impeccable. I can’t speak for the other brands though as they never send me anything!😂😇

For example you can be sure the fabric of the polos is first rate and even the caps feel great (though I don’t have many other caps to compare with!)...The golf bag I remember is of a very good cotton. Even the plastic sunglasses that I wear *daily* here ...  

Unless you got unlucky and was given the only poor quality example, or else that’s the quality of tens of thousands of AP leather pouches that have been handed out to customers? That’s the most concerning aspect😉You could seriously ask AP or even your AD....

They must give high quality merchandise. Why they give cheap stuff? Maybe a money ishoe. The watch sold, so the work is done.

The other products are not important. Straps and watch parts are important.

Normally these products are ordered in bulk from a third world country. As I know a lot of leather products come from Thailand, India China.

they sell you something at a very high price does not automatically qualify them a high end company. it takes an entire company's culture and history and pride associated with their name that truly distinguish them as a maison.
