However I should also say that I’ve received all kinds of gifts and accessories from Patek in recent years, and nothing has been short of impeccable. I can’t speak for the other brands though as they never send me anything!😂😇
This is what AP gave me after my 15202 service. Look at how the pouch stitching stood the test of time, or did it? Cheap cup holder from BlancPain. High-end brands should also give you high-end merchandise in my opinion. Giving this cheap stuff “cheapens”...
It also took long, and I’m not done yet, to recover all BUT ONE (#2 of Vol. 1) of the past magazines (thanks to Patek itself AND five or six different ADs that I deal with...it wasn’t easy!). Unfortunately most of these things are in Italy😇 ...
I have most things in Italy, but I believe I have these two books for the anniversary, especially the small one contains the special editions...Hope you’ll soon receive the missing rare handcraft volumes!🥂 ...

Or, give me something useful like an overpriced OEM strap. Anytime I go to an event I say no thank you to the goodie bag, unless there is food in there! Which is basically never.
We are speaking of accessories whose value is way less than that of our watches, but they do play a role in our perception of a brand -- and therefore, in a sense, in our purchases. Push this example to an extreme, and I'm frankly happy to be offered a co...
...though is at what $$ point do they think you are to be spoilt with real luxury accessories. A 10k Omega presentation and accessories are better than a 20k Breguet. A 20k Breguet prob comes with a better luking box than a 40k ROO. At what point does Ric...
Often the salesperson is surprised with the question and/or they have none in stock (but usually do source it and send it (sometimes weeks) later). I’d love if, like for the ALS Odysseus, it became the norm that watches from high end brands come with a po...
they sell you something at a very high price does not automatically qualify them a high end company. it takes an entire company's culture and history and pride associated with their name that truly distinguish them as a maison.
