Horological Meandering

The King is dead ...

... long live the King!

ThePuristS is the patriarch of all we have here today. There was nothing really like it in 2001. It wasn't the only horology site on the Internet, but it approached collecting, and drilled down to the intrinsic value of watches, like no other. I view PPro as the evolution of ThePuristS. So while it is sad to say goodbye, to me PuristS continues. And we will always refer to ourselves as "PuristS".

Change provides a time to reflect. Along with the sadness there is great pleasure and satisfaction in seeing what PuristS has evolved into. Congratulations to Thomas, to all the PuristS moderators who have worked to build the site over the last 11 years and to all the members, past and present, who make this such an oasis and wonderful corner of the WorldWideWeb.
