. . . brought his Longines triple-date moonphase chronograph. 24 hour indicator, too. E is not only a founding father of the gang, but also a close friend. He usually wears Omegas, so this was a bit of a departure for him. ...  

. . . brought just one watch, as usual. Grand Seiko SBGW047 - not exactly a common sight in So Cal. ...  

I have been thinking about adding a Grand Seiko to my collection since a trip to Tokyo in 2009 but just hadn't acted on it. It just wasn't a big priority...until Saturday. I had seen pictures of the 44GS reissue when it was announced earlier in the year, ...

That's very impressive. Mr. H is a man of great taste. Those are 2 incredible watches. I think it's the first time I see this watch by Daniels in picture. Do you have any information that you could share ? Thanks

As for the RAF Seamaster 300, what can I say? A Watch I always loved, which has to be part of a military watches collection. Very nice! Best, Nicolas

. . . for black, but the one I'm hoping to land would be a '56 white dial re-cased version, with no lume and blued hands. The Longines analog would be fine, too.

Point of clarification: the Omega W.W.W. (aka, "Mark X") was delivered to the MoD in 1945, but not for the RAF. Rather, it was designed as a general service watch for the British Army. It was nice to g-t-g, as always!
