Grand Seiko SBGW047 - becoming a more common sight in So Cal.
I have been thinking about adding a Grand Seiko to my collection since a trip to Tokyo in 2009 but just hadn't acted on it. It just wasn't a big priority...until Saturday. I had seen pictures of the 44GS reissue when it was announced earlier in the year, but hadn't seen one in the metal. That changed when both Mr. F and Mr. G showed up with one. As soon as I saw them I knew which Grand Seiko I was going to buy. Earlier today I stopped by the local AD to see about acquiring one of my own. Luckily for me they had recently received one. Needless to say they no longer have one in stock! Please excuse the quick iphone photo, the battery in my regular camera was dead:

That's very impressive. Mr. H is a man of great taste. Those are 2 incredible watches. I think it's the first time I see this watch by Daniels in picture. Do you have any information that you could share ? Thanks
