…. Thus, praise abounds
for one whose analyzing rounds
have set this forum’s style. Bloodhounds
for complications, with backgrounds
extensive, pause, as he astounds
with scholarship that oft confounds
his peers. (His modesty redounds
to everlasting favor.) Mounds,
pounds of praise, dear Caz! I’d say, “Grounds
for medals!” (And all Seiko-hounds
agree.)

Dear Mike,
How like you this acknowledgement of this milestone. You know…
Your scholarship is responsible for my being a part of this warm and welcoming community (and I doubt that I'm the only one with such a story). For, in a quandary about spending the greatest sum I’d ever spent on a watch, trolling the Internet for some kind of help or sign, I found your post “Watches FOUND after a long search,” and from there, the entrancing look at Japanese cuisine found in “Mini GTG of Moderators & Dinner.” I was hooked!
Then came any number of your posts in praise of the SBGW003 that I was contemplating buying because of some indefinable urge that said I really ought to take advantage of an opportunity. (Though at the time I had no idea, really, of what the opportunity was!)
I’ve thanked you before, but this is a perfect time to thank you publicly for your generosity of spirit, your devotion to Seiko, and the countless hours you have spent in service to all of us who gather daily to see “What’s new?!”
Many more years, friend. Many more years.
Fred
