Due to the number of watches that I own, this is what I do:
1. I group certain watches together. Watches with date and without. Watches with date are used only when travelling, because I don't want to adjust the date everytime I want to wear them. Hence, my reluctance to buy watches w/ date nowadays.
2. Then I group watches without date into 2 categories: slightly normal and attention grabber. The attention grabber watches are used only at home or on holiday.
3. Watches without date and slightly normal are breakdown further into a weekly rotation, 5 watches for Monday-Friday, and each will have a theme. Eg: chinese, black, pilot, manual winding, independent, etc. For this week it's chinese, hence my wearing corum dragon phoenix on Friday. Monday Tuesday are beijing watches. Wed is kiu. Thurs is azimuth dragon.
4. my quartz are used only as a regulator to set the time.
Doing this ensure that nobody get left behind.
ps. note there are no smily at all in this post. these rules are sacred and I'm deadly serious.
