I think it's that I normally wear 36-38mm so I am just not used to a time only watch being 40 mm!

I may get used to it over time but I normally wear smaller watches so maybe that's why!

Looking at the picture I understand your concern, but the watch itself fits perfectly. The white dial makes it look big (or bigger than it is).

I do feel after a while of use it is a tad bit too big for me (at least for a time only watch), and am thinking of parting with it for a different watch!

The strap works well with this case/dial.

My girlfriend took a picture of me wearing the watch and it looked a better fit then! Thanks for the compliments on the strap

I think the strap makes it look a bit better. The brown alligator that came with the watch was a bit too much for me!

I wish the watch were a little bit thinner & smaller, but that doesn't seem the direction LF is headed...

You know a camera adds 5lbs. To a watch. I think it looks fine.

I love the look of the LF and to my eye it’s a great fit on your wrist. And the strap is a nice complement as well.

Don't sell the watch. I have owned a regular 40mm version like yours. And I have a 39mm tourb and another 41mm micro. 39mm fits better but the proportion is not as wonderful. Suddenly the watch is too thick for the size despite it being only 1mm differenc... 

I did not know they did a 41mm in this case shape - is that the square version? I agree the proportions are very nicely done on the 40mm version.. I don't think I'd sell it unless I can trade it for some of my favorite watches!

I think there were limited runs for some platinum models. The dealer told me because platinum is softer, they needed to screw the case back to the case. So to accommodate the screws they needed to increase the case size.

For some reason I thought it was just the one 40mm size except for the few 39’s they have done here and there

The Deployant blog on the Laurent Ferrier micro rotor from Feb 2012. Look at the finishing of the parts and also the area under the bridge holding the micro rotor. The movement is really sublime and prob the best microrotor movement currently.

I could spend all day looking at this movement! I have been trying some macro shots of the watch as well. Really sublime finishing
