I always thought Matt integrated way too much humor into his reviews and that his reviews were unnecessarily long and not to the point. He is thorough.
Look at Chris Harris... Chris Harris once said some unflattering things about Ferrari - at the time he owned a Ferrari. Soon after, Ferrari's PR department started giving him the cold shoulder. Chris apologized to Ferrari personally, promised he would be more "constructive" with his criticism. Ferrari supposedly countered and said that he would not criticize at all. Chris supposedly agreed. The two kissed, hugged, and Chris was eventually put on the path to regain Ferrari's trust again.

When I drove the car for the first 10 minutes, I thought the car was okay. But it wasn't until I took the car on a longer trip where I encountered more difficult scenarios did I realize how bad it was. So I guess one has to take a more thorough test drive...

I've never bought a car that I couldn't drive / test for a longer period of time. I know it's not common in the US, but in CH it's customary for a dealer to give a test car even for a few hours and rarely participate in the drive. I even do more than that...

I don't speak Italian, but I watched some videos with English translations.
It seems that the guy is repeating official, marketing information and rarely has watches in his hands. He certainly does not test watches.
Of course I do :-)
I'll have a look to some of his videos (time permitting) and report back.
