I'm so pleased that you like Savagegeese! They're a little rough around the edges. I definitely don't like swear words (I find them very unnecessary) in the presentation. But the "In the Shop" sections are invaluable!

But I never really learnt driving properly beyond enough to commute and drive defensively, so I'm planning to learn some gokarting so I have more of idea of what savagegeese is talking about in the more technical portions!

Well... A Multi-link front can be configured in a format that is equivalent to a double wishbone. For example, the Lucid Air has a lower "A" arm, and a two piece upper arm that is configured in a way that behaves exactly like a double wishbone. So in effe...

As for the EQE, I will not comment... I have not had the opportunity to drive it. All the new cars with air suspension and steerable rear wheels are kind of disconnected from reality. I don't know how much of the EQE is more, and how much is within this n... 

In the end, sometimes you're afraid to be too objective - so you end up making a very neutral statement. You say things like the Mercedes EQE is a great car but there's some room for improvement...

However, these are your feelings, and like feelings, they will be subjective and depend on what cars you have driven, what you have on a daily basis and what you like. It is something that is difficult to measure. A test should, in my opinion, first and f... 

When I drove the car for the first 10 minutes, I thought the car was okay. But it wasn't until I took the car on a longer trip where I encountered more difficult scenarios did I realize how bad it was. So I guess one has to take a more thorough test drive... 

I've never bought a car that I couldn't drive / test for a longer period of time. I know it's not common in the US, but in CH it's customary for a dealer to give a test car even for a few hours and rarely participate in the drive. I even do more than that... 

I like this idea of renting the car and driving it at length.

But in the case of a daily, I have to test so I'm not surprised, as you did with the EQE

I have re-regulated a $300 Timex to +/-4 seconds a day. Of course regulation does take effort/time.

To watch from time to time a watch video review, sure it is more some entertainment. The most of the video’s are advertorials.

And not substance. It is very fashionable nowadays to dismiss accuracy with a pithy "if you care about accuracy, get a quartz watch". Ironically these are the same people who will wax lyrical about the "soulfulness of the beating heart" of a mechanical wa... 

Accuracy could be one of the elements... others could be the finish (macro shots), quality of materials, waterproofing, etc. 😉

It seems that the guy is repeating official, marketing information and rarely has watches in his hands. He certainly does not test watches.

I'll have a look to some of his videos (time permitting) and report back.
