Presentation boxes...
While I agree that watch presentation boxes are wasteful, to the average luxury watch buyer they're expected. The idea of going to a very fancy jewelry store, plopping down large dollars for a watch no one really needs and have it come in a brown paper wrapper makes no sense. These are luxury items and every part of the experience must scream quality.

For those fond of Islay malts such as Laphroiag who have not yet tried it, 'Lagavulin' 16 y.o. is a must. For a watch connection, Lagavulin is to Laphroiag as Patek is to Poljot. Cheers, pplater.

Having sampled many an Islay malt, I disagree with your assertion on 2 levels. First, as others have pointed out, the intensity that Laphroaig provides is what I like most about it. Peat and iodine in spades, and the greater the flavour the better for me....
