Assume they are about the same price pre-owned. 1) Rolex Explorer I 114270, very good condition, comes complete with Rolex box, and Rolex service card dated a few years ago. 2) Omega Aqua Terra green teak, 38 mm, near mint condition, comes complete with Omega box, and Omega AD warranty card dated a few months ago. Well those certainly are factors to consider, my AT Quartz is only 11mm thick, which is less than any of the others I believe

I like how Omega handled the date window. Do you prefer a date or not, there are very strong opinions on that topic here. Personally, I don’t mind a date window but I do like when it matches. I wish my Overseas had that.

I am more of a dive watch person

I love the Explorer I but I have to say, that Omega with the classic an d classy green dial also looks ageless and timeless. And different. I’m a huge Rolex fan, BUT in this instance, I’d go Omega!

I´d go Omega if it were at bit slimmer. I think the Omega looks amazing, built like.a tank, and the dial colour goes from light green to almost black. But as mentioned, it is a bit too thick. So Explorer for me.

I would opt for the Explorer.
As I have said on here many times, that is the one watch I had and let get away, regretted it eve since. If I didn't want a Cartier tank so bad I would probably get another one.
