But in reality, I have been fortunate enough to start with the watch I wanted the most as my first watch. And then another one I really wanted. And then another and another. I never thought I would have more than one. And I never intended to spend a certain amount. Life has taken me to where I am. I have many watches. I would not trade them in for 3 very special pieces because there is nothing outside of my collection that I want to own. At least for now.

1) JLC reverso platinum 2) Laco Pilot sterile dial 3) Grand Seiko Chronograph 4) Sinn EZM in titanium The rest maybe are Lange. Those pieces I saw him wear on events and some for cycling with me.

It comes down to how you approach collecting, I wouldn't hoard, there's such a thing as too many watches, but going as far as having just two or three watches... I don't know if I'd be able to do that.
