My favourite bracelets

1) JLC Geophysic TS bracelet - has quick release for removing entire bracelet, and 2 micro-adjustors at the deployant clasp. Does not snag hair

2) Omega Seamaster 300 bracelets - has a lot of length adjustment and doesn’t snag hair.

3) Girard Perregaux laureato bracelet - most comfortable bracelet i have worn. The watch needs to be coaxed into the wrist because the deployant is small, and that minimizes the risk of watch falling off completely if the closure fails. Only thing is, no micro-adjustment

Least Favourite Bracelets:

1) Tudor BB bracelets - no quick adjustment and ugly rivets.

2) AP Royal Oak bracelet - snags a lot of hair, and no adjustment

3) GS bracelet - the bars in the bracelet stretch most of all my watches. No microadjustment

What is your favorite watch bracelet?

I’m not gonna show the dial unless someone ask but I’m only focusing on the bracelet. ...

Here's the answer from my personal collection --- the platinum bracelet of Ref. 5131/1P, which (in my view) further elevates this spectacular reference to a totally new level! :-)

The heft (both practically and figuratively! ;-) the watch acquires with this bracelet is pretty remarkable. Also interesting, this is the only Patek Rare Handcraft reference EVER to come as "/1P" (i.e., with a P bracelet), thus making it even more specia...

Sweetttttt

I wonder how long it takes to do those dials?

Only a few people are authorized to work on Rare Handcraft dials at Patek (a handful for enamel, and for instance *only one* for wood marquetry! ;-), so while timelines are not an exact science, I can estimate a 5131 can take a few weeks to complete.

Out of total honesty, however, keep in mind that the 5131s in the four metals (or now the 5231s) are *in-catalog* Rare Handcrafts, hence relatively more accessible and with simpler enamel dials than the out-of-catalog references we announce every year (50...

Question for purists: Milanese or Beads-of-Rice bracelets???

YOU choose! And let me know! I'm thinking of a milanese bracelet for a future watch. The president a favorite of mine as well. ...

I don’t know how some here will take it? Some will laugh, cry or scratch their heads. I do wish the case size were smaller maybe someday. ...

The best of both worlds: supple as leather, sturdy as metal, more comfortable in hot and humid weather than beads of rice, doesn't pull hair and looks deadly cool! ...

No other bracelet comes close to the comfort and solidity that rolex offers in my opinion One thing I don't care about is bracelet extentions, it's something I've never used, but everybody wants The royal oak bracelet has to be mentioned too for how beaut...

The RO Jumbo bracelet is spectacular. The sharp angles and the way it catches the light sets it apart. While I have other bracelets that have individual qualities that I like - and that match well with their respective watches - this RO bracelet is in a l...
